This competition is part of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, a tradition of over 90 years!
Students of all ages can qualify for this nationwide event through an in-class spelling quiz. The winner of the La Entrada Spelling Bee is invited to qualify at local, state and even the national level!

La Entrada’s 2026 Spelling Bee
An exciting competition that went a suspenseful 26 rounds and included a fourth grader among the top three spellers. The winning word that clinched the competition was “synonym.” Congratulations to all participants and a special recognition to our judges and pronouncer for lending their time. “Bee” there next year!
