A staff and student favorite, Lunchtime Enrichment offers a variety of activities during lunch recess. Parent volunteers lead monthly clubs with topics ranging from Investing to Knitting.

Students can learn about Lunchtime Enrichment activities and sign up for clubs at the annual Leopard’s Faire.

The Leopard’s Faire will take place on Monday, September 24 and Tuesday, September 25 during lunch. Students who miss the Faire can still participate by contacting the Committee Chair below.

Lunchtime Enrichment clubs vary each year based on volunteer availability. Clubs have included:

  • Art
  • Book Clubs by grade level
  • Physics
  • Yoga & Meditation
  • GeoBee
  • Financial Wizardry
  • Minecraft
  • Chess
  • Community Service (for 4th and 5th graders)

VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES: Volunteers commit between one and eight hours per month. Some clubs are defined and designed by the parent volunteer with the help of student participants. We are always open to new ideas! Past parent-created clubs include Medicine, Historical Weapons and Wars, Science, Spy Technology, Knitting, and International Cultures.

Volunteers work with the Assistant Principal and the Lunchtime Enrichment Committee Chair to schedule monthly meetings, reserve space and submit announcements to the Leopard’s Spot and KPAW, La Entrada’s weekly student broadcast.

Please note: Parents who regularly volunteer at school may be required to undergo fingerprinting and a TB risk assessment (if not done within the past 3 years). The Chairperson will provide additional information to volunteers at the beginning of the school year.
