The following school-run programs are supported by the volunteer recruiting efforts of the PTA.

Apple for the Classroom: This program helps fulfill teacher “wish lists” of classroom supplies, subscriptions, and/or special activities. Volunteers coordinate with teachers to create wish lists and manage the online platform through which families can purchase or sponsor items.

Art to Remember: This school fundraiser supports the Visual Arts and Performing Arts Program (VAPA). Students produce colorful artwork that is converted into keepsake items for purchase through vendor Art-To-Remember. Volunteers unpack and distribute orders to classrooms in early December.

Photo Days: Volunteers assist with student yearbook photos in the fall.

Book Room Buddies: Volunteers support the La Entrada Library and PTA-funded Book Room, which provide leveled reading sources for students’ enjoyment and teacher access for reading and writing instruction. Catalog, label and shelve books on an on-needed basis.

Scholastic Book Fair: Volunteers assist during this annual book sale held in the school library.
