Who We AreThe mission of the La Entrada PTA is to foster academic excellence and the social well being of all of the students at our school. Working in conjunction with the school administration and staff, the PTA works to foster the home to school connections that ensure the most positive academic and social experience possible for our students. We design and run numerous programs throughout the year with the support of many parent and staff volunteers. The result is a strong community of concerned and involved families and school professionals. We are a part of the California State PTA whose mission is to have a positive impact on the lives of all children and families by representing their members and supporting them with skills in advocacy, leadership, and communication. To that end, the PTA works to develop a link between educators and the general public in order to secure the best advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education for all children. The La Entrada PTA Executive Board meets monthly, usually the second Wednesday of the month. Our general membership meets at least three per year.
