Our service project partner, Rise Against Hunger, shipped the meals to Vietnam, where they were distributed by an organization called Children of Vietnam that assists children, families, and communities in breaking the cycle of poverty, ill health, and homelessness; and provide immediate aid to children and families in crisis.
2018 Meal Deliveries:
In 2018, the meals were shipped to both Children of Vietnam and to five schools in Cambodia through an organization called Salesian Missions. According to the Salesian Missions website, “As a result of the donations, students are more alert in the classrooms, more attentive to their studies and better engaged in classroom work.”
