PTA Social Services

NEW PARENT ORIENTATION – New families to the district are welcomed at events early in the school year.  We also provide an orientation for families who are new and may need help to complete the required forms at the beginning of the school year. Bilingual services may be provided if requested.

GRADE LEVEL GATHERINGS – The PTA coordinates parent social gatherings at volunteers’ homes to promote a sense of community among parents of each grade level.  These are a great way to get to know the families of children at your school.

HOSPITALITY – Snacks and refreshments are provided for various PTA and community events held on campus.

MENLO-ATHERTON HIGH SCHOOL LIAISON – A PTA representative coordinates information for 8th graders and their parents in preparation for public high school.

OUTREACH PROGRAMS – Parents can apply for outreach financial assistance for a variety or programs.  Tutoring is also available. Those interested in applying for Outreach should contact the school counselor Erika Lowe or the Principal, Larry Thomas.
