2009-2010 Lunchtime EnrichmentInstituted in 2001, the La Entrada Lunchtime Enrichment (LELE) Program provides new horizons for 4th through 8th graders during their lunch hour. This innovative and award-winning program enhances our students’ lunchtime experience, helps build life skills, and enriches their education. Over half of the student body participates. This year, LELE will be offered on Wednesdays during both lunch periods. All students are invited to participate and enrollment is voluntary. Students may sign up for one or more series. Sign up during the Leopard’s Faire, August 26th-28th, or with your home room teacher before September 12th, 2009. There are no fees or costs to participate. The programs offered this year are: Book Club. Meet monthly with your friends and a volunteer to discuss books you choose to read. Green Club. YOU KIDS are in charge (with volunteer facilitation) of making LE and your world greener. Inspirational Speaker Series.
