2008-2009 Lunchtime EnrichmentInstituted in 2001, the La Entrada Lunchtime Enrichment (LELE) Program provides new horizons for 4th through 8th graders during their lunch hour. This innovative program enhances their lunchtime experience, helps build life skills, and enriches our kids’ education. Over half of the student body participates in these optional programs: Book Club, Money, Money, Money, Green Club, Youth Action Council, and World Perspectives. Everyone is invited to participate and enrollment is voluntary. The program is introduced to all students at La Entrada. Students may sign up for more than one series. All sessions meet on Mondays. Sign up for as many sessions as you want with your home room teacher before September 19th, 2008. Book Club – meet monthly with your friends and a volunteer to discuss books you choose to read. Money, Money, Money - The what, how, why of money you always wanted to know! Green Club – YOU KIDS are in charge (with volunteer facilitation) of making LE and your world greener!
