Lunch Bunch

Lunch Bunch is a new lunch program at La Entrada during the the 4th and 5th grade lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The goal of Lunch Bunch is to make sure all children have something to do during lunch, a comfortable place to go, and an avenue to make new friends. It's similar to the quiet zone at Las Lomitas. We basically try to ease the transition to middle school a bit. 

Parent volunteers staff the program, with two parents scheduled per day. The volunteers select games and crafts (from the supplies we have on hand at La Entrada) and set up a table near the blacktop. Kids can come and go as they want. Kids play games, jump rope, play with play dough, make lanyards, etc.
